Data Storage and Security

Your photos and videos are stored securely on Cloudflare R2, chosen specifically for its reliability and privacy-focused infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Your content is private by default and only shared with family members you explicitly invite.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or family memories with third parties for advertising purposes. We will never use your photos or videos to train AI models.

Data Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

With family members: Content you upload is shared with family members within your family account, as configured by you
Service providers: We use trusted third parties for hosting (Vercel, Cloudflare), authentication (Firebase), and payments (Stripe)
Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety

Children's Privacy

Remember When is designed for families and may contain content of children uploaded by their parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. Parents and guardians are responsible for any content they upload of their children.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
